Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but at The Edit, the process is simple and supportive. Whether you're ready to dive in or just exploring your options, here's what to expect:

1. Start with a
free consultation.

Before committing, schedule a brief call with Amanda to ask questions, share what you're looking for, and see if we’re a good fit. This is a no-pressure conversation designed to help you feel comfortable.

2. Schedule your
first full session.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first full session. This 50-minute space allows us to explore your goals, the challenges you’re navigating, and what you’d like to edit within your story.

3. Ongoing sessions
at your pace.

Therapy is a process, not a one-time fix. In 50-minute sessions, we’ll work together to reshape your narrative, gain clarity, and move you forward. At The Edit, we believe consistency and commitment drive real change. Weekly sessions are recommended to start.

4. Flexibility to fit
your needs.

Sessions are available virtually for clients in Texas, making therapy easier to fit into your life. Payments are accepted by credit card through the client portal. While I do not accept insurance, I provide receipts and superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
